Evolution of Scholarly Collaboration in ICIS: A Scientometric Analysis

As the Information Systems (IS) community grows, it is reasonable to expect that collaborations between scholars have increased. This paper studies evolution and trend of collaboration networks in International Conference on (ICIS). Based evolutionary analysis papers published ICIS proceedings over 40 years from 1980 2020, various characteristics social network IS researchers are identified discussed. Our research shows key as reflected by co-authorship: 1) has thrived demonstrated frequent interactions among members new joined connections improved. 2) The critical core community, most productive authors countries, were identified. 3) Collaboration patterns also studied. 4) how evolved was revealed.
